Opportunity Is Everywhere

A few days ago, I came across a forum post about The Elevation Group that caught my attention for a few reasons…

First, the author claimed that EVG was just about “doom and gloom”, that I thought “the world was going to end in 2013”, and that all we talk about is gold and silver…

And the second part that caught my attention, was that this person wasn’t even a Member of EVG.

How someone can have the audacity to have an opinion about something they’ve never even experienced is beyond me, and yet I can see how someone might think EVG is about “doom and gloom” at first glance…

The simple fact of the matter is that I share a lot of economic information with our readers, and almost without exception, that information would be considered “scary” to most people…

But to say that I’m spreading doom and gloom, is like saying that the weatherman is trying to ruin your weekend because he’s predicting rain.

I’m simply acknowledging reality for what it is, because only when you’re willing and able to acknowledge what’s happening, can you take a proactive stance to protect yourself from the threats, and even position yourself to profit.

Do I think that we’re going to experience an unprecedented economic collapse in the coming years? YES. It’s a mathematical certainty.

Do I believe that we’ll be at war with Iran by the end of the year, which will open up a Pandora’s box of unknown black-swan events? YES.

Am I worried about any of these events?

Not in the least, because the problems of the world create opportunity for those in the know, and THAT is the entire reason The Elevation Group was created…

We acknowledge the events happening around the world today, and then use that information to create security and prosperity in our lives.

In fact, the biggest problem that our EVG Members and I have today, is that there’s simply too many incredible OPPORTUNITIES to choose from right now.

Hey David, I hope you had a fantastic weekend…

We had the Austin City Limit’s (ACL) music festival happening in town all weekend, so things have been pretty crazy with guys like Cold Play, Kanye West, and Stevie Wonder headlining the main stage for the past three days…

Personally, I passed on the festivities and spent the weekend with my head down into everything EVG…

I’d actually like to begin this update with an apology for the recent lack of communication over the past month…

My attempts at keeping The Elevation Group a small three-person business are becoming more futile by the day as word continues to spread, and our membership base continues to grow around the world.

Keeping up on the business side behind the scenes has been a welcome challenge, but one that our team is up for…

So if you fail to hear from me for an extended period of time, that typically means that I’m working on something pretty big, and that’s definitely the case right now…

We truly have the ability to change the world through the amount of awareness and education that we are spreading on a daily basis. We’ve earned the eyes and ears of almost 200,000 people in less than nine months, simply through word of mouth.

By this time next year, that number will exceed 1,000,000 aware, active, and educated citizens who are ready for TRUE change instead of an empty promise, and who by working together, can actually affect policy around the world.

It is a massive opportunity, and a massive responsibility.

But there is only so much I can do as an individual. I need help, so I’ve begun the hunt for my replacement as The Elevation Group’s CEO.

This important addition to the team will give me the time I need to focus on learning, writing, recording, and providing our EVG Members with more of the life-changing education and investment strategies that we’ve been producing since EVG’s debut in December of 2010…

And speaking of life-changing, the person I’ll be introducing you to at the end of this month for Lesson 14, has been that for me…

Here’s an email I got from Mike Dillard of The Elevation Group today regarding his home in Austin, which is close to the devastating fires.

Quite a few people have kindly asked if my family and I have escaped the massive fires surrounding Austin unscathed…

Thankfully, the answer is yes… At least for now.

We’ve been experiencing a record draught and record high temperatures all summer down here…

Oak trees that have survived for over 100 years are turning brown and dying from thirst. So many trees outside my window have turned orange that it looks like fall…

I’ve never seen anything like this during my 33 years as a Texas native…

The entire state has turned into a tinder-box that’s just be ignited. As of this morning, over 1,000,000 acres have burned, and in just the past 72 hours, over 1,400 homes have been destroyed around Austin.

The winds have been pushing the flames so quickly, that the majority of these homeowners only had minutes to escape. They woke up that morning to a normal sunny day, and within hours everything they owned had been destroyed… Family photos, heirlooms, important documents, computers… Everything.

Most of them are now left with the clothes on their backs, and nothing more.

And while this is a massive tragedy, it is also an opportunity and a warning for the rest of us…

If you have not done so already, PLEASE make it a priority THIS WEEKEND to sit down with your family and prepare for the worst of times, so you will only know the best of times.

As The Elevation Group Members know, this is something I’ve focused on for the past few years.

Should we need to flee our home with only minutes of notice, we’ll be fine…

We have bags prepped with clothing, money, food, and even USB sticks with our family photos, and important legal documents.
